Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on 18 November 1985, in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks, after her very first tryout. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. Then she went to the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. One year later Felix earned her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking a junior world record by taking 200 metres at 22.18 seconds. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion in running 200m. In 2007, she won the title against her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed within the top three athletes in her respective events.
